He has been responsible for mishap investigation, hazard abatement, and training managing a city-sized hazard abatement program with an annual budget of $3.4B. In his first year, he reduced mishaps by 22%. He led a 40-person safety team to tackle explosives, aviation, and space occupational safety objectives. While at Ramstein AB he won the Geico Military Service Award for outstanding contributions made to safety and mishap prevention for all military operations in Europe and Africa. Throughidentification of critical hazards and safety lapses he preserved an estimated $2.6B in infrastructure.
